- Proficient in conducting stress analysis using both classical calculation methods and Finite Element Analysis (FEA), providing design suggestions, evaluating part discrepancies, aiding in failure investigations, and generating comprehensive analysis reports.
- Organize developmental testing to validate analytical models, encompassing assessments such as static, fatigue, vibration, thermal, and fluid dynamics.
- Ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of designated project phases.
- Possessing seven or more years of pertinent experience.
- Skilled in utilizing numerical analysis software, particularly ANSYS Workbench, Siemens NX, or similar platforms.
- Proficient user of MS Office, with a focus on MS Word and MS Excel.
- Knowledgeable in both linear and non-linear analysis techniques.
- Capable of performing vibration and thermal analyses on metallic structures.
- Experienced in computational methods for fluid flow or magnetic modeling.
- Competent in developing and understanding analysis methods and tools. Engaged in test correlation activities.
- Experienced in analyzing and verifying reports, with previous signatory rights being advantageous.
- Familiarity with Project Management principles and MS Project software

My client is a leading engineering and manufacturing business based in the Tewkesbury area currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Stress Engineer to work within a extremely technical mechanical engineer position within product development.
The right candidate will have strong design experience of mechanical and hydraulic components and processes as well as being able to carry out complex hydraulic testing and stress analysis.
This role will be based onsite 5 days per week to start with.
The successful candidate must have right to work within the UK
