Supply PlannerCentral London - 3 days/week in the office
This is a great opportunity for a Supply Planner to join an established and innovative food business in Central London.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and excel in building and maintaining robust customer relationships to enhance their service delivery.
Additionally you will be responsible for monitoring service levels and resolving order and invoice discrepancies.Responsibilities:
Lead the planning efforts of a designated product category, encompassing both daily and longer-shelf-life items, to optimize customer service and minimize waste.
Collaborate with co-manufacturers to enhance service levels while maintaining manufacturing efficiency and cost control.
Work closely with internal teams such as demand planning and component/ingredient planners.
Assist in the monthly stock reconciliation process to ensure accurate inventory accounting.
Conduct supplier performance analysis, focusing on cost management and negotiation when necessary.
Desired experience:
Proficient in analytical skills and Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational abilities and effective communication skills for team collaboration and supplier interactions.
Previous experience in supply planning, particularly within short shelf life categories, is advantageous.
Self-driven with the ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving business environment.
Proactive mindset, adept at anticipating and resolving issues.
Capable of working under pressure to meet targets and deadlines.
Open-minded and flexible with a positive, can-do attitude to thrive in our ever-changing business landscape.
