    Join Close Brothers Facilities Team where you will report to the Operations Manager is responsible for the smooth running of facilities services for Close Brothers Limited including ensuring the smooth running of Reception, mailrooms, M&E, cleaning, security and catering management across Northern and multiple offices.

    The role holder will liaise with key stakeholders, third parties and other member of the Facilities team to ensure an excellent service is maintained at all times, taking full responsibility for decisions, reports, improvements, innovation and data gathering within these areas. Drive best practice and efficiencies across Close Brothers Portfolio where applicable.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Facilities Services

    • Manage the front of house team, including ensuring rota's are prepared and shifts are agreed with adequate notice , with monthly reporting in place for statistics/feedback.
    • Ensure services by third party suppliers deliver their contractual obligations to the standards of the Bank, monitoring KPI failures and ensuring relevant financial deductions are made.
    • Ensure that the services team meet the requirements of the businesses on site and that there is appropriate liaison between internal and external teams to provide a quality and professional service delivery to staff and visitors.
    • Create an excellent service and welcome for all customers and staff to the HQ buildings.
    • Work with the business areas to deliver a great customer experience by maintaining the switchboard service.

    People

    • Recruit, train and employ high calibre and culturally aligned employees within budget, headcount levels and temporary resource requirements
    • Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities
    • Provide oversight and direction to employees in accordance with the firm's policies, procedures, standards and SLAs

    Developing Our People: as a line manager, you will be responsible for inspiring and motivating your team, as well as developing performance through coaching. You will encourage your team to take responsibility for their own personal development and provide support through regular feedback.

    • Substantial experience working in Facilities
    • Exceptional customer service skills
    • Demonstrable ability to liaise and influence at all levels with varying stakeholders
    • Excellent management skills with a proven track record of leading engaged teams
    • Demonstrable ability to work using own initiative, judgement and discretion

    IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:

    • Contract Management experience
    • Catering Services experience
    • Cleaning Services experience
    • Reception Services experience
    • IOSH
    • Management Training
