About us


Connolly and Callaghan are providers of Emergency Accommodation that strive to provide each resident with a safe and comfortable place to stay whilst their statutory agency finds them a more permanent home.

We take homeless families and individuals on a temporary and emergency basis.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide cover for the cluster when an EA Housing Officer is absent
  • Take part in the Evening/Weekend on Call Rota
  • Always interact with residents in a professional manner.
  • Assist with the packing of residents' belongings if required.
  • Be the first point of escalation for operations staff and residents in the field.
  • Resolve or escalate any noncompliance
  • Divert the 24/7 phoneline to reflect the weekly staff rota
  • Create and publish staff rotas consistently ontime,
  • Secure adequate cover for the staff rota
  • Allocate fleet vehicles to staff in line with rotas.
  • Report all staff absences to our HR manager & inform affected colleagues.
  • Ensure all incidents, breaches and accidents are reported to the operations team and your line manager.
  • Promote best practise
  • Train and support new members of the team
  • Approve timesheets for all EA Officers and Cleaners (excluding the night team).
  • Act as safeguarding deputy, report and escalte to managment
  • Support the operations manager with the holiday planning process and update relevant parties including payroll.
  • Approve foodbank vouchers and food parcels when requested
  • Have a daily presence across the portfolio to improve the quality of service provided by our operations teams.
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested within the scope of your role.

Salary:
£25,146.00-£26,520.00 per year

  • Bristol: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- safeguarding: 2 years (required)

- housing: 2 years (required)


Licence/Certification:

  • Manual Driving Licence (required)
