Description
The Best Connection Newcastle are seeking to recruit a
Quality Inspector to work for our prestigious client in Stanley. The client is a world leader in the manufacture of glass quartz products.


The role:


  • Perform incoming, inprocess and final dimensional inspection using a variety of gauges; micrometres, calipers, test indicators, height gages, based on the drawing of the product to be measured.
  • Runs established CMM programs to perform incoming, inprocess and final inspection.
  • Perform visual inspection against internal/customer cosmetic specifications.
  • Document inspection results per customer requirements.
  • Bag and label product per customer requirements.
  • Perform daily checks of gauges.
  • CMM programming / running experience.
  • Experience of hand help inspection tools, vernier, micrometre etc.
  • Good eye for detail

Hours + Pay:

- £25,000- £28,000 depending on experience

  • Monday to Friday
  • Monday to Thursday, 07:00am to 16:30pm
  • Friday, 08:00am to 12:00pm
  • 40 hour basic week with overtime payable after completion of basic hours
  • 4 weeks sick paid after completion of probation period
