Description

Our client, a prestigious Barristers' Chambers, based near Chancery Lane, is seeking a Fees Clerk to join their friendly finance team of five.

Working under the day-to-day supervision of the Head of Finance, the Fees Clerk is expected to provide financial, billing and credit control support to the Finance Team.


As a Fees Clerk your duties will include:

  • Sending fee notes and invoices for all work billed
  • Entering payments on to LEX system and sending confirmation of receipt to the barristers
  • Processing payments to online banking system
  • Assisting with daily bank reconciliation when required
  • Assisting with posting adhoc payments to staff members and suppliers on online banking system
  • Assisting with end of month tasks as required

Fees Clerk Skills & Experience required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including good spoken and written English
  • Calm, patient and flexible approach to work in a very busy environment
  • Good organisational skills to ensure all financial information is accurate and up to date

Salary:
£25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
