More about your role
In this role as a Security Safeguarding Officer, you will safeguard students, colleagues and visitors.

You will ensure excellent customer satisfaction and working as part of a Team in partnership with The University of Essex you will maintain smooth running of day-to-day workings of the business.

You will be monitor and control access to the sites, assisting authorised visitors in a welcoming and professional manner.

This role is not simply a security officer position, you will be trained to level in which you will be able to deal with emergencies, making sound and informed decisions ensuring any incidents are appropriately managed.

Please note you will be working on a shift pattern of four days on and four days off working night shifts.

You will be able to manage conflict accordingly, maintain excellent customer service and be aware of Health and Safety measures in place.
