Direct Medics are currently recruiting for a Band 5 Fire Safety Advisor to join our team in Dundonald, County Down for 6 months initially.

The post holder will undertake a wide range of fire safety management duties.

Key aspects of the role will include:

the provision of staff fire safety advice, assisting with fire risk assessments, fire safety audits, surveying of existing fire safety provisions including drawing mark-ups, liaising with statutory authorities/design teams and the collation of fire related data for governance reporting.

Qualifications
HNC/HND Engineering, Construction, Building Surveying (or equivalent level qualification) with 2 years' experience. BEng/BSc Engineering, Construction, Building Surveying (or equivalent level qualification) with 1 years' experience. Work experience will be considered in-lieu of matching/equivalent qualifications (please see essential experience).

Essential Experience

Without matching/equivalent qualifications:

At least 3 years' experience in a fire safety compliance role which involved the delivery of complex workplace fire risk assessments/audits.
