Classroom Assistant - Hounslow

A fantastic Primary School located in Hounslow are looking for a Classroom Assistant to work with both mainstream and SEN children and support them with their development.

The role is a fulltime position from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm.

As a Classroom Assistant, you will be someone that display a positive and bubbly attitude towards helping children with their development.

Previous experience as a Classroom Assistant would be ideal but experience working with children in some form of capacity and willingness to work with SEN children is essential. Previous experience with SEN is preferential

The Role:

As a Classroom Assistant you will need to assist children in meeting the emotional, physical and social needs of the children through positive role modelling and encouragement
Contribute to creating a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment as a Classroom Assistant
Work with children in either small groups or 1:1 with their development
As a Classroom Assistant you will be required to contribute towards a happy and fun learning environment
Work with special needs children when needed to help them settle into the class

Requirements:

Must ideally have had experience working with SEN children but not essential
Must have experience working with children in some form of capacity
Ideally have previous experience as a Classroom Assistant but not essential
Live local to the Hounslow area or within a commutable distance
Be available Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
