RSR are currently recruiting for
Civilian Investigator

The Directorate of Professional Standards (DPS) in the Metropolitan Police are recruiting Civilian Investigators to assist our Reactive Investigation Teams.

The DPS is front and centre of the Commissioners plan to restore public trust and confidence.

We are looking for experienced investigators who are good statement takers, are well-versed in disclosure requirements and have the highest standards of integrity.

London

Contract: 12 months

Work hours:
Full time - Office Hours

Salary:
£20.08 per hour PAYE - £23.78 per hour Umbrella

Main duties and responsibilities

Work from Southwark Police Station in Central London on an 'Actions' basis, tasked by a DS.
You will largely be taking statements, collecting and reviewing CCTV, body worn camera footage and conducting other investigative tasks.
London based as you will be required to travel within the boroughs. Expenses can be claimed for any additional travel cost incurred
Office based 4 days a week and remote work 1 day from home (this is currently nonnegotiable). There may be some opportunities for remote working once embedded.

Essential

Have previous investigative experience
Have a flexible attitude to work with the ability to prioritise
Have sound report writing/written skills
Must be IT literate and have a good command and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
