Hours:Monday, Thursday and Friday 9am-2:30pm

Wednesday 9am - 3:45pm

We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic SEND Specialist Tutor to join our ALS Department.

In this exciting role you will have responsibility to plan a new and inclusive learning programmes for groups of students, and to guide them through their learning process as well as delivering, plan and undertake assessments on a SEND programme.

You will assist students requiring Additional Learning Support to devise/update Individual Learning Plans and identify learning activities to be carried out by a Learning Support Assistant.

A full teaching qualification or working towards.
SEND Teaching experience/ SEND specialist
Maths & English GCSE / Level 2 equivalent (achieved or willing to obtain)
Knowledge of current developments in the FE/Adult curriculum
Safeguarding Children & Vulnerable Adults (or willing to obtain)
Understanding of issues in teaching and learning in FE with disengaged learners
Excellent communication and organisational skills
