    The Company


    An opportunity has arisen for a Civil Design Engineer with residential development experience to join a leading multidisciplinary design consultancy in their Bristol office.

    Going the extra mile to provide a quality and bespoke service, they specialise in urban, architectural, and civil engineering design within the residential sector.

    Role and Responsibilities

    As a skilled Civil Design Engineer your responsibilities will include:

    Providing support for planning applications (drainage strategy, flood risk assessments, long sections etc)
    Road and adoptable drainage designs and external detailing
    Preparing engineering packages for Section 38, 278, and 104 approvals
    Liaising and negotiating with clients and other consultants (Environment Agency and Highways authorities)
    Producing designs, drawings and reports using relevant software
    Maintaining our company standards of quality and consistency Requirements

    Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
    Experience with AutoCAD, PDS and/or Flow
    Excellent communication and numerical skills
    Strong report writing and presentation skills
    An avid problem solver with a keen attention to detail
