My lovely client is looking for a Payroll Assistant to come and help out on a temporary basis working part time; 16hrs per week - Offering a FULLY remote position apart from 1 day that you would have to visit the Ashington site in Northumberland to pickup equipment and meet the team
Description
Key responsibilities of the Payroll Assistant;
- Process all monthly Payroll
- Make sure all adjustments are processed (maternity/paternity/sickness)
- Process and prepare monthly deductions
- Respond to employee queries regarding salaries & ensure all queries received into the team are resolved in a timely manner
- Generate and post monthly Payroll journals
- Provide outstanding customer service
Profile
Successful Payroll Assistant;
- Have worked in Payroll before
- Be familiar with Payroll processes
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and act on own initiative
- Experience of working in a busy finance department
- Ability to set and manage priorities
