Job Description:


  • This role will provide Finance specialist support to the Group Functions. The Finance Specialist will work with senior stakeholders providing relevant, accurate and timely financial information for accountable Functional cost management.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Set and monitor the process and timelines for Corporate Reporting actuals, budgets and forecasts including headcount management
  • Determine the templates and formats for inputs and outputs to ensure the provision of relevant information for Functional cost management
  • Manage SAP, cost centres, hierarchies and responsibilities effectively to enable timely and accurate tracking of spend and facilitate meaningful cost analysis, ensuring costs are recorded accurately and on a timely basis, including accruals and recharges from other functions.
  • Perform reallocations and corrective journals when required.
  • Update and execute SAP activity uploads, settlements for actuals, outlook and budgets cycles.
  • Understand the Functional results to be able to challenge and affect relevant adjustments prior to monthend / periodend close
  • Ensure the information is accessible in a format and structure that is relevant to Functional cost management

Qualifications:


  • Qualification in Financial Management or Accounting (CFA /CIMA/ACA)
  • Working knowledge of commercial and technical accounting issues and good knowledge of accounting standards.
  • Essential working knowledge and extensive experience of the financial systems: SAP; PowerBI;
  • Core finance skillset including performance reporting, budgeting and forecasting
  • Proven experience in a management reporting role in a large multinational company
  • Problemsolving and planning ability to improve processes and systems and deliver on finance deliverables
