    We are recruiting for a Resourcing Manager who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

    As Resourcing Manager you will lead on the delivery of an outstanding resourcing service to the trust, ensuring we recruit the best people into the organisation. You will be forefront of our resourcing and talent acquisition strategy.

    This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills. Ideally you will have experience and knowledge of our recruitment system, Trac, and possess knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices in this field. You will have great customer service skills, with a passion to providing both managers and applicants an inclusive recruitment experience.

    Main duties of the job

    You will oversee the day-to-day management of the Resourcing Team, with a main focus on general staffing, ensuring a high quality, cost effective service to all service users. Ensuring an efficient and timely recruitment service is provided at all stages of the process to managers and applicants.

    You will work closely with the talent acquisition lead to ensure we are an employer of choice with our local community and develop strategies to meet current and future organisational needs.

    Consistently reviewing and assessing the quality and effectiveness of the service provided, you will also evaluate processes and policies in alignment with local and national requirements. Incorporating the 'ENH Production System' model you will be motivated to lead and showcase Resourcing as part of our organisation wide commitment to continuous improvement through a series of rapid improvement workshops.

    In the absence of the Head of Resourcing, you will be expected to deputise and handle special projects such as Overseas Recruitment.

    Qualifications

    Essential

  • Degree level or equivalent qualification or relevant experience in a senior Resourcing role in a large complex organisation
  • Desirable

  • Membership of appropriate professional body, CIPD for example
  • Previous Experience

    Essential

  • Significant experience of working within Resourcing team
  • Experience of supervising others in a customer service or faced paced recruitment environment
  • A proven track record of leading challenging recruitment programmes
  • Desirable

  • Experience of developing relationships with local schools/community groups or other external agencies
  • Skills

    Essential

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to persuade and influence and present information in a compelling, concise and appropriate way that is suitable for the audience.
  • Ability to build effective cross functional working relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders to drive organisational agenda.
  • Strategic thinking - ability to anticipate and resolve problems before they arise. Critical thinking skills and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands.

  • Experience of using recruitment system such as Trac, NHS Jobs and ESR
  • Advanced level of IT literacy including working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems and practice
  • Knowledge of talent acquisition and inclusive recruitment practices

  • Aware of the NHS People Plan and NHS Long Term Plan priorities and how they affect and influence Resourcing plans and aspirations
