We are seeking a seasoned Technical Specialist / Lead Engineer in power electronics hardware to spearhead our efforts in this exciting field.

    Requirements

    • Strong Foundation: Demonstrated proficiency in numeracy and literacy.
    • Extensive Experience: Minimum of ten years' experience, preferably with a portion in automotive.
    • Logical Aptitude: Sound logical reasoning skills.
    • Expertise in Power Electronics: Deep understanding of Power Electronics Design, especially in Automotive Inverters, with a focus on "Design for Manufacture."
    • Device Knowledge: Familiarity with power electronic devices, ranging from silicon-based IGBTs and MOSFETs to emerging SiC/GaN based technologies.
    • Standards Adherence: Experience in developing hardware compliant with IEC or similar standards like ISO
    • Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant CAD/CAE tools for Power Electronic product design.
    • Team Collaboration: Proven track record of collaborating with engineering teams in designing and testing power electronics.
    • Safety Conscious: Experience with RA/SSOW in an HV test environment.
    • Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to achieve results through focused objective-oriented work.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Design Leadership: Lead the design of power electronics hardware for traction drive and power conversion systems.
    • Requirement Analysis: Gather and analyze requirements from various stakeholders.
    • System Design: Design power electronics systems including IGBT/SiC drives, power converters, gate drive designs, and more.
    • Architecture Support: Assist in developing electrical and electronics architecture for e-drive applications.
    • Performance Analysis: Conduct analysis/simulation of electrical and thermal performance.
    • Test Equipment Development: Design and build power electronics test and measurement equipment.
    • Validation Testing: Develop validation tests for electrical test benches, HiL, and vehicles.
    • Innovation: Drive innovation by developing concepts, proving key technologies, and demonstrating system functionality.
    • Problem-Solving: Provide expertise for investigations and problem-solving activities.
    • Safety Assurance: Lead hardware DFMEA and support functional safety analysis.
    • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant EMC/EMI standards.
    • Supplier Management: Manage the technical delivery of suppliers.
