Description

Responsibilities:


  • Preparation of Financial Statements and supporting notes for Annual reporting
  • Preparation of the statutory accounts including supporting schedules and analysis for Audit
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts
  • Preparation of the annual Budgets
  • Ensuring the accurate posting of all relevant transactions
  • Preparation and production of Management Accounts, including supporting analysis, budget reforecasts and commentary
  • Preparation of Interim Accounts and supporting notes at halfyear
  • Preparation of financial data and supporting documents to enable production of Overseas tax returns and UK Corporation Tax returns
  • Submission of ERS data to HMRC
  • Preparation of UK Annual Tax returns for multiple companies
  • Submission VAT/GST Returns in the UK and Overseas
  • Raising intercompany invoices;
  • Maintaining small fixed asset and depreciation register
  • Responsibility for the Payroll, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, including collecting and analysing timesheet information
  • Reconciliation of bank and cash accounts
  • Pension scheme administration
  • Various adhoc projects

Requirements:


  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
  • Experience operating at a similar level in an SME
  • Strong knowledge of Tax
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Sage 50 experience
  • IRIS Payroll experience desired but not essential
