Main Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing product and production quality standards, procedures, and specifications for the group.
• Implementing and maintaining production quality traceability throughout the production process, from goods in to goods out, in conjunction with the production managers.
• Ensuring that all processes meet safety, legal and other national or international standards.
• The definition and implementation of production quality control plans for all new and existing products.
• Ownership of regular product quality review, based on agreed KPIs, with the Exec team.
• Ownership of product quality resolutions through established methodologies such as 8D.
• Management of the new product regulatory compliance process, Including scoping, applications & submissions.

Qualifications and desirable experience:

• Degree qualified in Quality Management, Quality systems, Engineering Business Management or similar, or equivalent industrial experience in a quality management role.
• At least 5 years' experience of demonstrable responsibility for quality management.
• Experience of implementing process change within a production environment.
• Experience of managing product certification / compliance with 3rd party agencies.
• Experience of managing market compliance within the UK and Europe.
• Experience of product quality issue resolution methodologies.
• Skilled in data analysis and reporting.
• Experience of undertaking internal audits.
