Description
We are in search of a meticulous and organised bookkeeper to join and support our clients. The role of the Bookkeeper is pivotal in ensuring the financial integrity and stability of our clients' organisation. This involves maintaining accurate financial records, managing financial transactions, and generating necessary financial reports where necessary.

At present our client does not have the capacity to sponsor.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Financial Data Management:


  • Capture daily financial transactions, encompassing purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Maintain and revise the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable records.

Financial Reporting:


  • Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Prepare financial reports for management to aid in decisionmaking processes.
  • Provide regular financial summaries and reports to relevant stakeholders.

Budget Management:


  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
  • Track expenses and analyse variances between budgeted and actual costs.
  • Recommend costsaving strategies to improve the organisation's financial performance.

Payroll Administration:


  • Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with payroll tax requirements.
  • Address any payrollrelated queries from employees.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
