Immunisation Nurse - South Essex Band 5 27 hours per week - All year round - Fixed Term Contact Basildon/ Billericay/Wickford/Canvey
Main duties of the job
EPUT 'Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust' is recruiting for immunisation nurses to work within our Essex wide immunisation service. The service is primarily delivered through a school based model, offering all school aged vaccinations including the intranasal flu vaccination. Additional programmes are offered through community provision at clinics and home visits.
We pride ourselves on delivering high quality flexible services and are looking for like-minded people to join our teams.
You will be an RN/RMN/RSCN with an interest in children and a good working knowledge of the child health immunisation service. The post holder must have a compassionate manner when dealing with large groups of children and be able to work in a busy school setting.

The post holder will be responsible for delivery the national school aged immunisation programme through different models within school and community settings. Working within local and national guidelines, utilising PGD's.
A current UK driving licence is essential and access to car for business use.
