An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Litigation Coordinator to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about communications and can help share our story as we deliver our plans to invest in our network, support net zero and create a greener energy future.
You will handle a specific case load for recovery of costs incurred as a result of damage caused to Northern Powergrid's assets by third parties, and handle claims for resolution received from other utilities for network damage.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a case load of damage claims ranging from £100 to £1m+ in a timely manner within the Delegations of Authority
- Establishing key customer contacts and manage down their debt
- Handling technical and legal queries and disputes
- Identifying problematic claims and determining the best course of action
- Understanding the costing of damage repairs and the associated overheads
- Supporting the claims admin. team and other litigation coordinators
- Progressing claims into Litigation for resolution
- Working closely with our external legal service providers
- Meeting with third parties or their representatives on occasions to resolve liability and/or quantum issues

Qualifications and Attributes
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2 A Levels grade C or above OR NVQ Level 3 OR ONC in Business Management
- Working as part of a team
- Proven written and spoken skills
- Customer service
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Previous claims/ insurance/ legal experience
