SDET | Developer in Test | Cypress | Jest | JavaScript | Automation | CI/CD | Docker | API | £65,000 - £75,000 | Remote UK


Wedo has partnered with an internationally known business who have built a leading open-source API platform that enables worldwide developers and business users to build, manage and monitor their APIs.

They're now looking for an SDET to research, develop,maintain, coach and provide best practices to create a test framework to continuously improve the efficiency of software products and services.


The successful SDET will have the following experience and mindset:

  • A
    coderin
    JavaScript or Java (ideally both, though willing to upskill in the other)
  • Proven ability in creating scalable, robust automation frameworks for UI and APIs (Ideally
    Cypress)
  • Can create and maintain
    API tests across the multiple layers of the test pyramid
  • Advocates shift left and shift right test approach
  • Knows what to automate and what not to automate and still puts a high value on exploratory test effort
  • Can build and configure automated tests into CI
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes would be a plus

This is a remote role; however, the team meets once per month in London for social events. Whilst this isn't compulsory, they do want someone who's socially inclusive.
