Description

Desktop Support Technician with strong 1st & 2nd line IT support experience is required by a leading law firm based in Southwest London.

This is a new role due to company growth, with a clear progression path to a 3rd line level role in the future.


Experience required:

  • Excellent 1st and 2nd line IT support experience in Windows 10 and MS Office 36
  • Administration of Active Directory & Microsoft Exchange
  • Basic networking experience patching, knowledge of DNS/DHCP, WAN, etc.
  • Some experience of VMware Horizon View or other VDI technologies such as Cloud, Hyper-V or Citrix
  • Good 2nd line IT support experience in Desktop and Laptop PC hardware and software maintenance as well as building/imaging PCs


This is an excellent IT Support role for a leading law firm, that will keep you busy by providing variation in projects and responsibilites due to company expansion.


Duties in the role include:

  • Providing 1st and 2nd line support to the 600+ user base via the Service Desk, managing the life cycle of support requests through to resolution
  • Build and manage IT hardware including Laptops, iPhones and Desktops.
  • Participate in IT projects as and when required, with exposure to some 3rd line support work in the future
  • Process all ITrelated aspects of Personnel Change including new starters
  • Maintain the IT asset register & IT Knowledge Base
  • Deal with 3rd party suppliers when appropriate
My client is looking to pay a starting salary of between £30,000 - £35,000 + hybrid working + benefits, including private healthcare + excellent pension
