    Description

    As a Digital Content Executive at Birmingham Royal Ballet, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the company's social media channels as well as contributing to website management, content creation for social media and more You will work closely with colleagues in the Digital and Marketing teams to create engaging organic social media campaigns with KPIs that aim to expand the reach of the organisation and grow our digital audiences.

    As a touring company, Birmingham Royal Ballet works with a variety of venues and organisations around the UK to coordinate digital activity on multiple digital channels.

    You will also be responsible for gathering data from social media campaigns and present it in a digestible way to stakeholders and team members.

    Responsibilities

    Include running the company's social media channels, including planning content, copywriting, social media optimisation, scheduling content, content creation and data analysis.


    • Building and maintaining a brand's presence across multiple digital channels.
    • Collaborating with the Digital and Marketing teams to tailor digital activity based on results to improve campaigns and their impacts.
    • Measuring key performance metrics, including but not limited to: Website traffic from social media, audience engagement, reach and change in following.
    • Preparing reports on the performance of campaigns and the digital channels.
    • Suggest alterations to content and digital activity based on current trends and cultural occurrences.
    • Assisting the marketing team with the creation of content for the company's website. For example, writing web stories (blogs) which will direct traffic from social media to the website as part of the wider strategy.
    • Taking notes in team meetings and sharing with the team.
    Qualifications
    1-2 years experience working within a busy digital or marketing team.

    Relevant qualifications:
    An apprenticeship, degree or relevant experience would be preferable but a specific qualification is not required.

    • The ability to work within a team to achieve shared objectives.
    • Organisation, reliability and a good attention to detail.
    • Good communication skills - essential for our large-scale tours with multiple venues.
    • Experience in editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
    • A finger on the pulse of Culture and trends.
    • Adaptability to change on short-notice and respond to requests from multiple channels.
