Finance Systems Support Technician - Oxfordshire - £28,000 - £32,000

This Finance Systems Support Technician role is working with an international organisation tackling worldwide issues to help sustainability and equality.


This role will support the global community by maintaining existing financial systems support, as well as familiarising themselves with a new ERP implementation project.

You will need to be comfortable therefore with adapting to multiple financial systems and reporting tools, and willing to train on new systems and solutions.


Key accountabilities:


  • Resolution of support issues for finance processes & systems and escalate as appropriate.
  • Analysis of support issues to identify common problems for potential improvement
  • Responsible for user administration of the accounting and Budgeting systems.
  • Assist and lead user training on finance processes and related systems
  • Test and evaluate efficiencies and automation before release to end users.
  • Assist in management and support of the budget, budget phasing and cashflow processes within the Planning and Budgeting system to ensure that all requisite templates and reports are in place when required and necessary workflow and data transfer processes function correctly.
  • Work with the Finance Systems lead and IT to transition approved changes to live systems.
  • Support the implementation of a new ERP system
  • Provide support to the Finance systems lead in testing, data cleansing and maintaining documentation as part of the new ERP systems Project.
  • Administration of finance SharePoint sites to enable collaboration between finance and other departments.

Key Skills:


  • Experience in supporting finance systems
  • Experience in a financial environment is highly desirable
  • Good Excel skills
  • Good analytical skills desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to contribute as a member of a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and positive 'can do' attitude

Salary:
£28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

  • Wallingford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- finance systems: 2 years (required)
- supporting SAP implementations: 1 year (preferred)
