As the UX Design Lead you will be expected to drive the product strategy for our key digital initiatives and take creative delivery ownership of projects.

You will have the strategic thinking skills to navigate complex problems and proactively manage relationships at all levels across Synechron and with our senior clients.

You will also be prepared to lead a project team of Service, UX, UI Designers.

  • Lead a wide variety of research including user interviews, cocreation, journey mapping, usability and concept tests and surveys, ensuring that actionable results are delivered and shared
  • Present and communicate research results and recommendations to stakeholder teams and the larger organization when needed
  • Being active in the project lifecycle, from brief and pitch to usability and build
  • Collaborating with account managers, creatives and developers to deliver high quality digital products that meet business requirements
  • Staying on track with emerging digital trends, attending design events and engaging with the wider digital creative community
  • Delivering worldclass design deliverables using UX methodologies, including research and user flows, ideally through a datadriven approach
  • Identifying how organisations can reduce cost of delivery and improve outcomes through redesign of user experience
  • Lead user testing session from prototypes
  • Producing excellent visual outputs through highfidelity designs, rapid prototyping and highfidelity UI, ready for development Guiding the daytoday activities of project teams, including Service, UX, UI and Analysts

Required Skills, Experie
nce and Competencies

  • 510 years of relevant Product design experience
  • Extensive handson experience leading UX research in a product design environment across the Design Thinking stages
  • Ability to lead workshops relating to UX Research both inperson & remote
  • Creative problem solver comfortable dealing with uncertainty
  • Create strong UI prototpypes and highfidelity designs showcased in a portfolio
  • Selfstarter with the ability to define goals and strategies
  • Able to combine strategic thinking with pragmatism without sacrificing quality
  • Experience designing internal products and tools
  • Proactive and positive attitude, with strong attention to detail & analytical skills
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Significant experience working with senior stakeholders and engineers
  • Financial services industry and commercial banking experience
  • Bachelor's/University degree

Desirable Skills, Experience and Competencies

  • Experience with agile methodology
  • Master's degree

Location:


This hire would need to be 2 days in the office, which will be at River House, near the City center.

This role requires going to the client office in Sheffield.
