Our clients are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial estimating.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects within the leisure and education sectors.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
• Evaluate material and labor costs to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
• Review and compare subcontractor and supplier bids to select the most cost-effective options.
• Present estimates and proposals to clients and participate in negotiations as needed.

• Commercial estimating experience in Education projects is desired
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
