Camino Search have been mandated to find an Interim Financial Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of the financial records and providing crucial insights to support decision-making. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and delivering accurate financial reports.

Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end and year-end financial close processes.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Professional certification (CAANZ, ACCA or Equivalent)_
• Proven experience in financial accounting roles, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations (GAAP/IFRS).
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
