    The role:

    This is a part time role, 25 hours per week Mon-Friday (Flexible on working hours, can be discussed). It is a homebased role based in Scotland with occasional travel to our office in Edinburgh for team meetings when necessary.

    Who we are:

    Award Scheme Ltd is the trading arm of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and we are responsible for the administration, opening accounts and general admin for all the Licensed Operators and Directly Licensed Centres who run the DofE. We are a small, strong team that work closely together and support one another in achieving our goals.

    We now have a fantastic opportunity for an Invoice and Administration Assistant to work within our team. You will provide support to the team in various areas such as processing invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring customers' accounts are kept up to date, answering customer queries always ensuring a high level of customer service, assisting the Operations manager with opening new accounts, processing new licences and dealing with grant funded applications, assisting the Accounts Manager and various other ad hoc duties.

    We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

    • Excellent customer service skills by email and telephone
    • Natural team player, happy to offer support to their team and colleagues.
    • Proficient in MS Suite, including Microsoft Excel
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail.
    • Working knowledge of account packages such as Sage or Business Central

    A starting salary of between £24,421 - £28,731 pro rata dependent on experience.
