You will seek to protect, grow, and enhance the brand-building authentic and long-lasting relationships with internal teams and engaging a broader external audience.

Working within an award-winning Design and Marketing team. It is a continually evolvingrole within the team so there is an opportunity to make it your own.

You will uphold the reputation of the Brand and Design team - who act like an in-house agency, the firm comes to this team for inspiration, creativity, and strong brand knowledge, you andthe team are the brand ambassadors for the firm.

With a varied skillset across print, digital and experiential - you all wear many hats and lean on one another for each other's expertise.


This new permanent position will be paying an annual salary between £80,000 - £90,000 per annum dependent of skills, experience, and expertise.


Essential Job Functions

  • Manage all aspects of the firm's visual identity, including operational delivery of a wide range of print and digital design outputs, to support our marketing and other internal & external communication initiatives.
  • Ensure branding remains differentiated you will need to keep an active radar on what competitors are doing, and ensure we're aware of best practice design and branding thinking in terms of the wider market
  • Deliver, plan, and produce your own, assigned high level projects whilst managing inhouse design team to deliver a large volume of marketing collateral on time and on brief. Coach and mentor less experienced members of the team to improve their creativityand fulfil their potential
  • Manage external specialist agencies or freelancers to service the firm's brand identity, cope with peaks in demand and deliver sophisticated marketing campaigns, you will work closely with the campaigns and events teams
  • Manage the expectations of a robust internal client base, including partners and fee earners
  • Work across a global team, managing time zones effectively
  • You will need to both inspire people with effective designs, but also persuade people of the need to embrace new ideas
  • Manage part of the design team, and working closely with the brand and design manager, directors, and business development teams, as well as close relationships with other key teams including HR, Facilities and IS
  • UK/US travel is expected to work alongside your team, while also arranging travel for them to your office when needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 8 years' experience delivering a brand and design strategy at an agency or marketing communications firm.
  • Expertise in brand, positioning development, integrated marketing communications and campaign development.
  • You have experience participating and playing a major role in a rebrand or leading a brand through a significant evolution.
  • Global level experience in managing a visual identity.
  • Portfolio of creative assets required for consideration.
  • You must have experience leading, mentoring, and coaching individuals within the creative industry, with a background in design is preferable.
  • Working knowledge of largescale campaigns and pitching and can confidently lead on direction and scope with stakeholders, directors, partners, fee earners and board members.
  • Experience of accessing, interpreting and challenging briefs from internal clients as well as marketing and business development professionals.
