Job summary
We are recruiting a Director of Grants Delivery to complete the establishment of a�centralised grants delivery capability, which will be responsible for delivery of all the�department�s grant schemes. The Grants Delivery Directorate (GDD) will be a�centre of excellence, working closely with colleagues from policy, finance, analysis�and legal, as well as industry experts, to award and monitor grants across a wide�range of policy areas, ensuring compliance with government grant standards and�HMT�s Managing Public Money. The department�is currently overseeing�the delivery�of a portfolio of 18�live and legacy schemes, with a�combined lifetime budget�totalling c�30bn.
The Grants Delivery Directorate is geographically dispersed with staff based across the UK. The team currently comprises c55 FTE, which will grow as delivery�responsibilities for all grant schemes across the department are migrated into GDD.
