    Procurement Category Lead, Corporate Functions, Hybrid

    Exciting career opportunity available for a Procurement Category Lead to play a pivot role in supporting a global VP to develop all the organisations strategic, sourcing and commercial activity. To efficiently and effectively ensure third party engagements deliver the appropriate service, value and risk management to our Financial Services client.

    Working within in a very small lean procurement team you will get an opportunity manage and own the global category for the organisation which will spans across 4 core functional areas - HR, Marketing, Finance and Operations. There is a very small IT function whereby only adhoc support will be required within that functional area.

    You will be fully empowered to proactively manage, drive and own on activities and initiatives for the global category and support in other categories and Procurement areas of the Commercial Services function operating model and business priorities. Leading complex commercial negotiations of multi-million £ with outsourcing or BPO partners. You are likely to be passionate about operational governance with deep supplier management experience.

    Suited candidates must have a prolific background of managing stakeholders at all levels with the ability to influence others in delivery of value and risk management solutions that provide demonstratable value to an organisation.

    This is the perfect career opportunity for a Category Lead (Corporate) who already has a proven track record of being in a similar job within another Financial Services environment, ideally another Insurance Company. You are likely to use your lesson learnt in a new environment whereby you get the full autonomy to implement working practices that can deliver real value to the organisation through process excellence and contracting. Any previous Top 4 Consultancy or a strong Professional Services background might be beneficial for this job, but is not essential.
