Description

Our client, a Nationally Recognised Awarding organisation based on the Heron Road in Belfast are currently seeking to recruit two enthusiastic individuals to join their Compliance and Audit Team.

They will be responsible for providing administrative support to the C&A team and providing advice and guidance to existing and new centres.


Duties Include:


  • Data entry onto management information systems/databases.
  • Provide administrative support to the external verification process and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide administrative support to the preparation of exam papers.
  • Ensure all data and information relating to areas of work are managed and maintained in line with data protection regulations (GDPR) and OCN NI protocol.
  • Maintain all internal and external service standards to meet customer requirements.
  • Provide general telephone advice and guidance to Centres
  • Arrangements for external verification activities
  • Attend and contribute to Compliance and Audit team meetings.
  • Support colleagues in the use of relevant management information systems/databases.
  • Provide support and guidance to colleagues on compliance and audit procedures and centre status.
  • Produce management information reports as required.
  • Produce data reports for monthly compliance and audit team meetings.

Essential Criteria:


  • GCSE (or equivalent) Maths & English Grade C or above
  • Previous relevant work experience in a clerical/administrative office environment to include the following:
  • Maintaining databases and spreadsheets
  • Producing general correspondence
  • Providing clerical/secretarial assistance in line with organisational procedures
  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g. Word; Excel; Outlook)
  • Ability to work across virtual teams, using a variety of multiple online tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, OneDrive and Sharepoint.
  • Sound organisational/administration skills with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks within an agreed work schedule.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to agreed timescales and within delivery standards.
  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with a strong customer awareness and focus.

Desirable Criteria

  • 2 years relevant work experience in a clerical/administrative office environment.
  • Experience of working in an awarding body or education setting.
