An opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced and qualified construction Health and Safety Advisor to undertake the following duties and responsibilities:

Providing health and safety advice and support to client teams, advising clients of their CDM duties and assisting with development of CDM strategy for projects.

Visiting project sites prior to construction to carry out initial risk appraisals and during construction to review arrangements (as required).

Preparing, co-ordinating and distributing relevant pre-construction Health & Safety Information to other design & project team members, using company format where required.

Involvement in design appraisal and design hazard risk assessments. This is a new position, and the ideal candidate will receive training and instruction and personnel development. 3 years previous experience as a Health and Safety professional in the construction industry.
NEBOSH Diploma and/or NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
Previous experience of working on retail fit-out, new build projects is preferred.

Good IT skills, being a competent and experienced user of general Microsoft Office software (Safety Culture familiarity is also beneficial).

A full clean UK driving licence is essential for this position as it requires regular travel.
