Work for an NHS Foundation Trust as a Head of Charity in South Yorkshire

The Head of Charity will be responsible for the strategic development and day-to-day operation of the charity, providing leadership and direction to all charity employees.

What you will be doing

Develop and deliver the Charity's 5year strategic plan.
Lead and direct the charity's mission of raising and using charity funds to benefit patients, Trust employees and Trust facilities.
To represent the charity externally, acting as a spokesperson and ambassador for the organisation at internal and external events.
Monitoring and evaluating the social impact of all grants awarded and sharing the information with all relevant stakeholders and donors.
Development of an annual grants expenditure budget, to ensure that both charity and Trust objectives are aligned and realised.

Experience required to be considered

Proven experience in a senior leadership role, in the nonprofit sector.
Expertise in the development and implementation of fundraising strategies, successfully delivering long term fundraising goals against budgets in excess of 1.5m.
Evidence to show a personal track record of delivering a min 500k per annum fundraising income.
Experience of budget and financial management, with a good understanding of charity commission guidelines.
