Mitie Telecoms - Project Engineer

Mitie Telecoms, under the P2ML arm which deals with the structural design element of the business, is looking for a Project Engineer to join the team in their Rutherglen office.

You will be responsible for:

1. Preparing all H&S documentation as necessary.
2. Undertaking tower analysis.
3. Undertaking re-analysis of existing models.
4. Building and analyzing structures with MS Tower.
5. Designing and reviewing strengthening designs, and approving straightforward schemes.
6. Carrying out bespoke designs including hand calculations and appraisal.
7. Acting as lead engineer on project-related work, ensuring health and safety and site work are delivered to the highest standard.
8. Running projects completely (technical, planning, and commercial).
9. Controlling project costs, ensuring that the projects you are tasked with are kept within an appropriate budget, maximizing profit where possible.

You must have:

• A minimum of two years' experience, preferably in the telecommunications sector with experience of MStower or equivalent.
• A hardworking and motivated attitude, keen to become part of a dynamic and expanding team.
• The ability to manage your workload effectively.
• The ability to plan and program works.
• Knowledge of H&S requirements of projects.
• The ability to identify and suggest process improvements.
• The ability to communicate accurately, concisely, and with confidence at all levels.
