    Description
    Role - Parts TechnicianShift - Monday - FridayMain Purpose of

    The Job:

    This role covers the stores environment to receive, store, issue and record the traceability of all raw materials,fluids, equipment, spares, tools, PPE, consumables, and client provided materials on the site.

    The StoresPerson will be trained in all aspects of day to day activities that take place in a busy stores environment.


    Main Duties and Responsibilities:
    Materials Issue1. To identify and understand the requirement of the technician2. Provide prompt and courteous counter service for personnel calling in at stores to collect items3. Respond to telephone calls in a prompt and courteous manner4. Issue materials to the GSE Technicians, ensuring that all paperwork is signed off correctly5. Purchase from local suppliers as and when required6. Pick and pack stock orders ready for delivery to outstations7. Ensure parts are correctly scanned onto ELC (in-house software used to manage the day to day business)8. Deliver materials/equipment/items to shop floor/work areas as required9. Updating Supervisor regularly with the pending parts statusGoods Inward 1.Check and Receipt of deliveries to site2. Unload delivery vehicles in a safe and timely manner3. Drive company Fork Lift Truck (dependent on licence)4. Day to day organisation of a goods received quarantine area5. Notify suppliers immediately of any damaged goods or short shipments6. New stock items to be located and labelled as requiredStock Control1. Participate in stock counts and reconciliation against ELC inventory2. Ensure stock items have appropriate bar codes attached always3. Ensure full traceability of all stored materials/items4. Ensure all items are appropriately stored for their size and weight
