    Full Time (40 hours per week) based in GreatYarmouth, however travel throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk willbe required

    Starting Salary of £31,712 with progressionopportunities to £33,644 per annum

    Plus, Company Vehicle and Call out payments

    About therole

    We have an excitingopportunity for a Multi Skilled Operative to join ourTeam.

    Our External works Operative will ensurethat responsive repairs are carried out, providing a timely,efficient, and high standard of work to our properties. This is akey role in ensuring that our homes are maintained to a highstandard and for us to provide an excellent service to our tenants.So if you want to help make a difference, then this could be thejob for you

    The main focus of the role willbe:

    • To complete allocated workswhich will fall within operative's trade / skill set but couldrange from Brickwork, Fencing, Plastering, Artexing & Overboarding, Paving & Patios, Drainage, Roof works (minorrepairs), Floor Levelling, Wall tiling and Painting &Decorating.
    • Responsible for the effective andefficient delivery of repairs and maintenance works within void andresponsive repair service.
    • Deal with tenantenquiries and respond in a professional manner reporting anythingback to the relevant manager.

    About You

    The successful candidate will have thefollowing:

    • Minimum of eitherfull trade Apprenticeship or NVQ level two or appropriate tradeexperience within at least 2 different trades
    • Property Maintenance experience – ideally residentialproperties
    • Ability to working across trades,beyond main trades, to deliver a full service tocustomers.
    • Evidence of working within aH&S aware environment
    • Experience ofdealing with Customers directly
    • Basic / GoodIT skills, particularly relating to using emails / SmartPhone.
    • Valid Driving Licence

    All staff and volunteers working forBroadland will always be expected to act in a manner thatis consistent with our corporate values andbehaviours.

    The successful candidate willbe required to undertake a basic Disclosure and Barring Service(DBS) check and will join our on-call rota.
