We are delighted here at Yourconstruction to be recruiting for a Factory worker ideally with Machine Operator experience

My client manufacture high performance solutions at a fabrication facility in Cumbernauld.

Hours - 37.5hrs - 06:00 - 14:00 (30 min unpaid lunch & 15 min paid tea break

Job Purpose:
The individual will be an experienced machine operator, responsible for programming and safely operating equipment

(specifically

CNC Turret Punch &/or Hydraulic Press Brake)

within our sheet metal fabrication facility.

They must ensure all H&S requirements are adhered to whilst completing the given tasks in a timely, efficient and

effective manner. This role will also require the individual to support / assist colleagues within the factory operating

various other equipment and machinery, as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:

Skilled and experienced machine operator (specifically
CNC Turret Punch &/or Hydraulic Press Brake)
Complete pre use checks and carry out basic maintenance tasks on equipment, in line with company/manufacturers guidelines.
Support / assist colleagues in the factory operating various other equipment and machinery, as required
Perform manual handling duties, ensuring manual handling procedures are adhered to
Maintain standards of health & safety, hygiene and security for work environment, equipment and products
Any other reasonable requests from Management

Person Specification:

Essential:

Skilled / experienced machine operator (specifically
CNC Turret Punch &/or Hydraulic Press Brake)

A positive team player, with demonstrable ability to work collaboratively with colleagues

A 'can-do' attitude, looking for solutions rather than problems

Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and work ethic

Desirable:

Experience in a construction / manufacturing factory environment

Basic understanding of fabrication drawings

Valid forklift truck licence (desired but not essential)

Salary:
£12.50 per hour
