- Lead, empower and drive the Export Customer Service team to provide outstanding service for Export customers
- Responsible for ensuring that endtoend solutions are available to meet country/customer specific export requirements.
- Hold the team accountable for providing and maintaining highlevel export compliance standards and positive customer experience that enhances the company's reputation, whilst facilitating International Trade in an efficient manner.
- Ensure that proposed transactions are screened for denied persons and entities, restricted end uses and diversion.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing, developing and motivating a team of Export Customer Service Specialist/Coordinators that are focused on providing outstanding customer service across the EEMEA region
- Supervise department daily operations
- Ensure the team drive order processing & dispatch to support to our commitments to customers and help us achieve our AOP targets
- Actively supervise daily activities in the department to ensure that the team adheres to customs and export compliance regulations and corporate policies
- Work collaboratively with all colleagues to deliver customer centric solutions and experience.
- Works closely with the Export commercial team, to ensure all customer communications are aligned with current focus and strategy
- To lead a program for the maintenance & improvement of export standard operating procedures, to ensure trade compliance in accordance with current regulations and policies
- Build performance development (PMD) plan for the team to ensure that quarterly and annual reviews are completed before the defined deadlines
- Develop annual training and development plans for each team member
- Highly skilled in encouraging and promoting a positive working environment
- Willingness to meet with customers, attend exhibitions, training events and meetings (which might involve overnight stays) and be flexible with working hours to meet business needs
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- BSc or MSc in Business Management or relevant Export background with relevant management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of understanding of export trade compliance
- Management skills
- Prepared to travel occasionally
- Strong selfmotivated individual
- Proven experience in managing and prioritizing workloads within a pressured environment
- Maintains composure even when faced with the most difficult or challenging situations
- Have the ability to navigate through organizational boundaries
