    Description

    Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health
  • Participate in Internal HSE Audits and close out actions in a timely manner
  • Responsible for the morale of the team ensuring they are adequately trained to carry out their roles
  • Ensure production throughput is in line with plan
  • Effectively manage plant downtime
  • Ensure Risk Assessments and Standard Working Procedures are reviewed and updated as required
  • Drive quality and compliance of material
  • Complete material composition analysis daily and highlight areas of concern
  • Drive good housekeeping principles and carry out audits
  • Complete accurate reports regarding plant availability, production, and recovery
  • Support continuous improvement activities on site
  • Daily running of the site and plant safely, compliant and within Budget
  • Key Competencies

  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Budgeting experience/knowledge
  • Work well under pressure
  • First Aider is desirable, or must willing attend training
  • Track record of driving Health & Safety
  • Preferably with a background in waste management or within a heavy industry environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise an everchanging workload.
