- Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health

- Responsible for the morale of the team ensuring they are adequately trained to carry out their roles
- Ensure production throughput is in line with plan
- Effectively manage plant downtime
- Ensure Risk Assessments and Standard Working Procedures are reviewed and updated as required
- Drive quality and compliance of material
- Complete material composition analysis daily and highlight areas of concern
- Drive good housekeeping principles and carry out audits
- Complete accurate reports regarding plant availability, production, and recovery
- Support continuous improvement activities on site
- Daily running of the site and plant safely, compliant and within Budget
- Previous supervisory experience
- Budgeting experience/knowledge
- Work well under pressure
- First Aider is desirable, or must willing attend training
- Track record of driving Health & Safety
- Preferably with a background in waste management or within a heavy industry environment
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise an everchanging workload.
- £13.50 per hour, plus bonus
