Oasis Academy Clarksfield - 'Dare to know and dare to be wise'

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity where you can help to change the lives of our children and our community? We are seeking a passionate, motivated Deputy Principal to become part of the Senior Leadership team at our unique academy.

Oasis Academy Clarksfield is situated in Oldham, Greater Manchester.

It is an inclusive academy for children aged between 4 and 11 years old, representing the multicultural strengths of Oldham and committed to delivering first class-education and playing an active role in the local community.

The academy strives for all pupils to achieve their full potential, fully prepared for an ever-changing society.

See the potential, make the difference

We are seeking an outstanding teacher with experience of successful primary school leadership.

As deputy and part of the senior leadership team you will have high expectations for all, be able to effectively support and develop teachers and leaders, empower staff teams and drive forward standards whilst demonstrating emotional resilience and being a champion of the Oasis ethos and 9 habits.

Our journey so far:

Oasis Academy Clarksfield is a 'good' (Ofsted April 2023), popular 2-form entry primary and nursery with excellent building and learning facilities, serving a thriving, dynamic and diverse community.

The Academy forms part of a large Multi Academy Trust and works closely with five other Primary Academies and our local secondary academy within the North West region, as well as schools nationally whilst maintaining close ties to the local authority.

At Oasis Academy Clarksfield we believe in investing in our children, families and staff. Our children are the future generation of pilots, doctors, scientists and politicians. Our children are ready for whomever they want to be and whatever they want to do.

What happens at Oasis Academy Clarksfield will shape them not just for the here and now, but for the next phase of their education and beyond.

"Pupils work enthusiastically in their lessons and achieve increasingly well because leaders have increased everyone's expectations of what pupils can do." (Ofsted 2023)

Being part of the Oasis family of academies, the overarching vision of our Academy is to provide 'Exceptional Education at the Heart of the Community'.

We want to ensure that all of our young people, whatever their starting points or background, get the education they deserve - and they deserve nothing less than exceptional.

Effective Support:

To develop you as a leader, you will enjoy the support and challenge of a Regional Director and wider OCL National Team.

By being part of a family of 52 Oasis academies, you will work alongside expert leaders in their field and benefit from a strong support network and partnership within the Greater Manchester area.

You will have many opportunities to share best practice and drive continual improvement, including Regional Improvement Networks and access to a growing CPD programme nationally.

Oasis is committed to making a difference to the lives of the communities it works in, and as such you must show a willingness to demonstrate commitment to the values and behaviours, which flow from the Oasis ethos.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff to share this commitment and to undergo appropriate checks, including enhanced DBS checks.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
