Our client based in Sheffield is looking for Multi Skilled Engineer to work on Projects in Airports, Quarries, Power Station and other facilities across the UK.

They are a market leader in conveyor systems.

This role comes with a company van, fuel card and a brilliant over time pay rate.

You will be required to travel to site.

You will need to pass a criminal record check for this role


Job Role:
Multi-skilled Electro-Mechanical Engineer NVQ level- ONC/HNC qualified would be beneficial.

  • Apprentice Trained in a maintenance discipline preferably multi skilled would be desirable
  • 17th/18th Edition Certified
  • Manufacturing Experience
  • Methodical faultfinding approach
  • Root Cause Analysis Experience
  • Experience of working in a reactive/ preventative maintenance environment
  • Experience of industrial control systems instrumentation, motors, VFD's


  • Desirable

  • Thermographic Training certification

Responsibilities:

  • Basic troubleshooting, maintenance, service and repair of designated equipment including conveyors, elevators, screws, inspection and repair.
  • Travel to customer sites etc as company needs dictate both domestic and international. Possible nights away from home.
  • Plant maintenance and upkeep of schedules and records, repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance.
  • Effective manufacture, assembly and packing of all current and future company products to a high standard.
  • Ensure quality within the manufacture and assembly of company products.
  • Assist in improving all processes purchasing, production, goods in, despatch, logistics.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment / general housekeeping.
  • Provide support to the team.
  • Participate and embrace training and meet Personal development plans.
  • Work in a safe manner to ensure the safety of self and others and highlight any issues to the QHSE Manager
  • Health and Safety Permit to Work knowledge. Ability to write Method statements and Risk assessments.
  • Comply with processes and procedures to ensure that the Company achieves it goal to continually improve its environmental performance
  • Ensure that the planned daily work and Electrical/Mechanical breakdown cover delivers 100% external customer service level
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with our internal and external customers.
  • Take ownership for the quality of repairs and maintenance carried out and that service levels are maintained.
  • Diagnose faults and conduct root cause analysis
  • Update PPM details using knowledge and experience of the equipment
  • Provide breakdown reports for Service manager
  • To monitor and control the efficiency within the areas of responsibility.
  • Multi skilled engineering experience
  • Good organisational and timemanagement skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • The willingness and ability to collaborate and work closely with colleagues in a mutually supportive manner.
  • Able to drive
  • Computer Literate, MS Word, Excel, Project, Adobe.
