- Reportsdirectly to Engineering Manager or reports to ProductionSupervisor. Performs routine set up operation minor and majorroutine maintenance preventative maintenance (PM) andtroubleshooting of highly complex/automated manufacturingequipment.
- Responsibilities includeproduction quality downtime and waste levels of machine operation.
- Perform mechanical pneumatic and electricalmaintenance (including preventive) repairs adjustments inspectionand monitoring of production and/or facilities related equipmentand machinery.
- Uses judgment and consultationto analyse troubleshoot and repair complex equipment and machinery.
- Must project positive attitude with good teamskills. Effectively works in a team setting supporting team goalsand objectives.
- Make effective decisionsrelative to position requirements.
- Usesjudgment to plan perform make decisions troubleshoot and problemsolve in performance of all maintenance tasks.

- Prioritizes daily workassignments to meet production needs and departmentgoals.
- Responsible for preventive maintenancescheduling completion of work orders and tasks asassigned.
- Supports installation and removal ofequipment and performance of required correctivemaintenance.
- Consistent presence in productiondepartments. Monitors the production lines and proactivelyevaluates equipment performance for repairs and continuousimprovement.
- Must demonstrate mechanicalaptitude to complete changeover of equipment and some operatorlevel preventive maintenance.
- Assist withrootcause analysis activities for process or productexceptions.
- Checks work using prescribedgauges jig and fixtures to measure close tolerances.
- Ensures accurate documentation of all relevant qualitysafety and maintenance documents.
- To be donein conjunction with Engineering Quality and Productionsupervision:
- Organizes executes and directsimprovement projects to increase equipment utilization.
- Identifies troubleshoots and resolves complex issuesassociated with the machine performance and/or productquality.
- Advises on proper content of PM tasklist and frequency of execution.
- Assists withthe installation debug and startup of all new or modifiedproduction equipment.
- Works with generalsupervision.
- Works with external contractorsand vendor as needed
- Demonstrates the abilityto follow established procedures according to Good ManufacturingPractices (GMP)
- Must follow all clienthousekeeping policies and procedures
- Mustfollow all client safety policies and procedures
- Must be able to work overtime as required to meet clientbusiness requirements
- Performs other duties asassigned.
- High School Diploma or GED & Certificate and 2 yearsof experience in relevant field
- High SchoolDiploma or GED with 4 years relevant experience required

- Understanding and use of tradesmathematics calibration techniques and precision measuringinstruments essential.
- Constant mental andvisual attention performing moderately complex work requiring closelimits of accuracy and tolerances.
