Contract Scotland are delighted to partner with our client, a highly reputable civil engineering contractor, for their search for a General Foreperson to join their team on a permanent basis.

Working primarily within the water sector, the business has seen an array of project wins and has exciting growth plans.

They specialise in working on large scale civil engineering projects as well as smaller, more specialist works across Scotland. You will work with a team on water projects as part of a wider framework.

The client is well placed to secure future works on this framework within the public sector and as such, a background in operating on Scottish Water projects would be ideal for this role.

As the General Foreman you will be responsible for managing all site operations, working with contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers and clients to ensure that highest quality work is delivered at all times.

A demonstrable background in civil engineering works - Scottish Water projects being desirable for this role.
Marine experience considered.
Previous experience delivering all health & safety and quality procedures.
Previous experience working with a civil engineering contractor.
Experience of delivering projects on time and to budget.
Proven experience of effectively communicating with onsite staff, sub-contractors and management.
Passionate about promoting a safe working culture on your projects.
