Landscape Architect - Brighton, East Sussex, United Kingdom - Oxford Garden Design

    Default job background
    Description
Are you a skilled, creative & experienced Landscape Architect or Garden Designer who loves to dive into the detail of garden construction and looking to work on a freelance or project-by-project basis?

We're a small yet busy garden design studio in Brighton working on various contemporary and design-driven projects at multiple scales throughout Brighton, Hove, Sussex and beyond.

We seek support to help our small team deliver detailed design packages on several large garden projects. Typically, you'll prepare construction drawings, develop technical details with the studio, and coordinate with broader project teams.
The role is freelance, and candidates can work remotely, but you'd also be very welcome in our studio.
A degree in Landscape Architecture / Garden Design or an equivalent qualification.
At least 4 years of experience within a professional Landscape Architecture role or Garden Design Studio.
Highly skilled in Vectorworks & SketchUp.
Proven success in building effective working relationships whilst working remotely.

A contemporary design-led studio working almost exclusively within residential garden design with a passion for Mediterranean style and climate-resilient planting.

Our small, friendly team operates from a dedicated space in Central Brighton, working on residential garden designs from small courtyard spaces to multi-team projects working on one-off bespoke luxury homes & gardens.

Led by our Design Director, Alick Nee, who has years of experience working for some of the UK's leading garden designers and studios.

We're happy to be flexible on working arrangements and supportive of other commitments you might have.
