- Strong understanding and ability to process technical knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with MRP software, particularly LN, is advantageous.

- Experience within an engineering manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Collaborating closely with the Production Manager, and another Planner/Controller, as well as the heavy manufacturing supervisors to ensure the timely and efficient production of the heavy product line.
- Generating production orders for internally manufactured items.
- Participating in monthly production meetings to provide insights on material availability and project progress, addressing any arising issues.
- Coordinating with the IT Manager to enhance LN for planning purposes.
- Assessing priorities alongside the Production Manager and other Planner, considering resources and subcontractors.
- Addressing material supply challenges across various production departments, investigating and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Supporting the Production Manager with any associated production planning tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess an acute awareness of material and fabrication whereabouts, overseeing job statuses and expediting processes even to subcontractors if necessary.
