Our client is currently looking for a Sales Operations & Customer Success Manager EMEA to join their team in York.
The Sales Operations (Customer Service, Product Support and Solutions Engineers) based in the UK, Germany and France at Edmund Optics are a committed, dynamic team, working together to meet the needs of their customers.
In this role you will be responsible for internal sales operations in the region EMEA, directly contributing to this goal.

Sales Operations & Customer Success Manager EMEA Duties:
- Manage the sales operations team with the objective of customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and profitability
- Achieve and safeguard worldclass customer service and support, regarding quality, speed, and method of reacting to and resolving customers' needs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure operational excellence within the sales function in changing business environment, reduce complexity through higher standardization and streamlined processes (e.g. automation tools, templates, reports)
- Identify improvement and innovation potential in the processes and coordinate their implementation with external service providers / consultants and internal teams
- Ensure the "Customer First" culture by planning and enacting consistent customer experiences, ensuring post sales execution, managing customer lifecycles
- Recognize and develop sales opportunities and communicate with outside Sales Teams
- Work closely with the business lines to achieve customer success and support corporate initiatives
- Develop service level strategies for different customer needs
- Foster additional cooperative partnerships across the organization on the customer's behalf
Sales Operations & Customer Success Manager EMEA Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Economics or Business Administration or equivalent, ideally with related experience in a matrix organization
- Minimum of five (5) years managerial experience in technical businesstobusiness sales / customer service management
- Knowledgeable about sales processes, account development and ideally about information systems
- Experience with the concept of customer journey
- Proven leadership ability to effectively build and manage teams located in different European sites
- Business fluency in English, other European language skills beneficial
- Excellent communication, networking and interpersonal skills, also across cultures and organizational boundaries
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and teamoriented environment with handson mentality
- Willingness to travel internationally if needed
