The Role:

  • Your administration skills and talent for organisation will be highly valued here in the Children's Services team. We can offer you a genuinely varied and responsible position
  • and the chance to play a supporting role in helping the county's most vulnerable children.
  • You will provide administrative support, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. The more efficient and effective your contribution, the more our team can focus on the children and families. You will be undertaking work which is confidential, demanding and at times, emotionally challenging but always rewarding, which requires effective communication skills, and a sensitive approach.
  • Joining this busy team you will carry out a range of administration duties including; assessing customer requirements and responding to routine enquiries through to monitoring budgets and resources. So, you will need proven administrative experience and good IT and communication skills, plus GCSE at Grade C or above in Maths and English or equivalent.
  • We offer flexible hybrid working and you would only be expected to attend the office twice a week
