Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Fundraiser to join our team. As a Fundraiser, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's fundraising efforts.
Your primary responsibility will be to engage with potential donors and secure financial contributions to help us achieve our fundraising goals.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference and has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Duties:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet organizational goals
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations
- Conduct research to identify new funding opportunities and stay updated on industry trends
- Plan and execute fundraising events, including donor appreciation events, galas, and auctions
- Prepare compelling grant proposals and reports for foundations and other funding sources
- Utilize fundraising software, such as Raiser's Edge, to track donor interactions, manage campaigns, and generate reports
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging fundraising materials, including brochures, newsletters, and online campaigns
- Provide excellent customer service to donors by promptly responding to inquiries and expressing gratitude for their contributions
- Maintain accurate records of donor information, contributions, and interactions Requirements:
- Proven experience in fundraising or a related field
- Strong market knowledge and understanding of fundraising principles and techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with donors
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective donor engagement
- Proficiency in using fundraising software or CRM systems (e.g., Raiser's Edge)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred We offer competitive compensation packages commensurate with experience.
